Whole School Update Week 6

Whole school reminders/updates:

 

PIE NIGHT – Parent Information Evening this Friday 25th November starting at 6.30pm

6.30pm - Dinner and drinks

7.10pm - Children go into the crèche

7.15pm - Presentation begins

8.15pm - Question time  

8.30pm - Wrap up and close

Thank you for everyone who has replied and are able to join us.  RSVP's for the dinner and crèche have now closed, although you may still reply to attend the presentation.   

 

SWIMMING LESSONS - next week Mon 28/11 to Fri 2/12 for all Foundation to year 5 students. 

All consent / medical forms & payment are due back to the office by tomorrow Tues 22/11/16.

Children can wear their swimwear under their school clothes, but remember to pack the towel, goggles& dry underwear in a separate bag.   

Student medication stored in the school office will be taken to the Starplex. 

 

Open Morning - Wednesday 23rd November 9.30am

This is for any new families wanting to enrol at Immanuel.  If you know of any families please let them know.  Enrolling for 2018 and beyond, although there are still some positions in some year levels for 2017. 

 

WORSHIP AND PRAISE on Friday 25th November at 9am is led by Miss Wain's Foundation class and Pastor Geoff.

 

This Friday's Walking Group 25/11/16

At this summer time of the year it has been decided that on Fridays we will walk and not run.

Last Friday there were the fast walkers with Miss Clarke, the moderate walkers with Mr Davies and Ms Sylvia Pinchon helped the youngest from behind.

Please note, all of us meet at the shelter stage ASAP after the bell goes on Fridays. We are sorry for those who missed last week. Mr Davies will have permission forms that must be signed  if your child is attending. We like parents walking as well.  We try to set off at 3:45pm sharp for a school return by 4:30pm.

Last walk we ventured along the old Barossa (no trains anymore) railway line.

This week we will try a north Clonlea Park loop. If the causeway clears of over-running water, we will explore other park areas in the weeks ahead.

Please come if you are tempted to, or are just curious on Friday afternoons for 45 minutes. We have fun.    Mr Davies.
