Whole school reminders/updates:

 

Welcome back to term 4.   This is a 9 week term.  The last school day is Thursday 15th December and we conclude the year with our End of Year service at 7pm under the shelter.

 

Subway lunches every Friday this term - orders must be in at the classroom/office by Wednesday 3.30pm   Order forms available from the office or download here  

 

Parents & Friends (P&F) Meeting is this Thursday 20th October at 7.00pm in the staffroom.  New members welcome!

 

Friday 21st October is "Light it up Red for Dyslexia day".  Students can wear a "splash of red" (eg red socks, red ribbons, red scarves, red hats) to help raise awareness for Dyslexia.    There will be cupcakes for sale at the end of day.  

 

Worship and Praise on Friday 21st October at 9am is led by Mrs Darby.

 

Sunday 23rd October the "Amalgamation Service" will be held at our school commencing at 9.30am under the shelter. The 2 Lutheran churches in Gawler (Zion and Immanuel) will unite into one congregation.   

·         This is a special moment in the ‘Lutheran’ history of Gawler.  

·         School families are welcome to show their support and attend the service too. 

·         Our school band will be playing prior to and at the end of the service. 

·         "The Longest Lutheran Lunch” will be held following the service.   School families are welcome to attend, and bring a plate of food to share.  

 

 

 

Second Hand Uniform Stall - Opening Term 4 Week 3

·         If you have some outgrown, good quality uniform items you would like to sell please bring them to school this week or next week (Monday 8.30-9.15am, Tuesday 3-4pm Friday 3-4pm).    Please download the attached form to complete and attach to each garment.   

·         The stall will be manned by a small parent group and will be located in the store room adjacent to the Junior Primary courtyard area.  Opening hours from week 3 will be Monday 8.30-9.15am, Tuesday 3-4pm Friday 3-4pm.

Year 7 Exhibition 2016 - Wednesday 2nd November 6.30pm to 8.00pm

Our year 7s are busy preparing for this event and are really excited about opening their exhibits for the whole school community to see.    If you cannot come on the Wednesday evening it will be also open on Thursday 3rd November from 8.55am to 9.30am.
