Welcome back to Daryl Trigg who is back from his overseas holiday.
Hats - students need to wear their hats at recess and lunchtime and whilst outdoors. Please check that your child's hat is clearly named.

Thank you to families and students who were able to attend the Gawler Lutheran Church "Amalgamation Service" yesterday.
Year 7 Exhibition 2016 - Wednesday 2nd November 6.30pm to 8.00pm
Our year 7s are busy preparing for this event and are really excited about opening their exhibits for the whole school community to see. If you cannot come on the Wednesday evening it will be also open on Thursday 3rd November from 8.55am to 9.30am.
PIE Night – Parent Information Evening
On Friday 25th November (week 6) the P&F will be hosting a ‘Pie’ Night at Immanuel! (Parent Information Evening!) While there are still a number of details to work out we do know that this night will include/involve:
· Dinner (supplied)
· Crèche
· Feedback from the two surveys that were conducted this year
· Information about Immanuel’s newly developed strategic plan
· Information about Immanuel’s newly developed marketing plan
· Information about 2017
This is an event for the whole school community to socialise and to hear about future plans for our school. Please keep the night free if you are interested in this and we share finer details as they are developed
Our school will be having a stall at the Gawler Village Fair on Saturday 5th November. If you can spare an hour to help, please let the school office know. Entries for the Rotary Club Art Exhibition (displayed at the Village Fair) close today.
Family Portraits (P&F fundraiser) Saturday 5th November - please return your booking sheet by Monday 31st October if you have an interest in a family photo sitting.
Big Cake Bake is Monday 31st October - all students are invited to bake or decorate a cake and bring to school next Monday - money raised going to the Australian Red Cross.
Second Hand Uniform Stall - Opening Term 4 Week 3
· If you have some outgrown, good quality uniform items you would like to sell please bring them to school this week or next week (Monday 8.30-9.15am, Tuesday 3-4pm Friday 3-4pm). Please download the attached form to complete and attach to each garment.
· The stall will be manned by a small parent group and will be located in the store room adjacent to the Junior Primary courtyard area. Opening hours from week 3 will be Monday 8.30-9.15am, Tuesday 3-4pm Friday 3-4pm.
Subway lunches every Friday this term - orders must be in at the classroom/office by Wednesday 3.30pm Order forms available from the office or download here
Running (or Walking) Club @ Immanuel
Do you like running / Walking? Are you interested in being a part of an Immanuel team in the ‘City / Bay’ next year? Would you like to join a ‘Running / Walking Club’ on Friday afternoons? If so, then read on!
· Mr Howard Davies, an avid runner and Yr 4 teacher at Immanuel, is looking to start a ‘Running / Walking Club’ on Friday afternoons.
· This opportunity is for all students.
· It will be held here at school on Friday afternoons starting at 3.45pm (until 4.30pm) and to begin with will be confined to the school grounds, but we hope to branch out in time with runs / walks ‘around the block’ and a cross country circuit at Clonlea Park.
So….if this is for you, please complete the form below and return it to the front office as soon as possible. Certainly we would welcome parent participation if you wish to walk / run as well.
