Monday Updates Week 8

 Last day for library borrowing is Wednesday this week. All books must be returned by the end of term (Friday next week) for the stocktake over the holidays.

 

If you are able, it would be wonderful to see you and/or other family members (such as grandparents) around on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings to read with students until 9:20am. Thank you to the few who have been able to make it in so far!

 

Whole school reminders/updates

·         Students on site before 8.30am

Ø  Camp Australia offers Before School Care at Immanuel every morning from 7.30am to 8.30am.     In the interests of your child’s protection and safety all children who arrive early must use this facility and be signed in at the OHSC Room, unless they are under the direct supervision of an adult (parent/caregiver) who is on site with them. 

Ø  Our school has a legal duty of care to ensure students are supervised and while the gates are open from 7.30am, we do not have a teacher on yard duty until  8.30am. 

Ø  Camp Australia offers After School Care at Immanuel every afternoon from 3.30pm to 6.00pm.  Children not collected by 3.45pm will be ushered into After School Care according to Duty of Care requirements. 

 

·         Cabaret  - This Friday 24th June 7pm to 10pm.  Tickets for sale via the office up till Friday am. 

A fun night listening to our talented musical students and staff.  Plus good wine and nibbles.   

Adults $10, Students $2.  Crèche open for all students in Foundation to Year 5 from 8.15pm till 10pm. 

 

·         Art Exhibition  – Friday 24th June under the Shelter - 11am to 1pm and again during Cabaret 7pm to 9pm.  Visitors during the day and Cabaret ticket holders will have a chance to vote in the "People's Choice Award in the Open Category"

   

·         P and F Giant Wine Raffle  Tickets $2 each or 3 for $5   - On sale now in the office and at the Cabaret.  Prizes drawn at the Cabaret Night. 

 

·         A reminder that the last day of Term 2  is Friday the 1st of July – staff have a PD week during the week of the 4th of July to 8th July.  Term 3 returns Monday 25th July.
